Our Lady's Guild
Purpose
The purpose of this organization is to foster a true feeling of human concern among all members of our parish and thereby imitating the virtues of the Blessed Virgin, who is our Patroness.
We encourage daily devotions to the Blessed Mother.
Mission Statement
Our Lady's Guild is a ministry that embraces, supports and encourages women of our Parish to live their lives in a way that is pleasing to Our Blessed Mother through fellowship, spiritual development, stewardship and fundraising
Things we do and have done:
Monthly meeting with guest speakers
Begin each meeting with the rosary/decade
Attend community Mass on third Thursday of month, followed by breakfast to celebrate member's birthdays for that monthAnnual Christmas Potluck
Clean Church altar/sacristy area
Launder altar linens
Provide Baptismal stoles for newly Baptized
Participate in Rosary Sunday
Sponsor a Women's retreat.
Prayer chain for sick Guild members/with Mass cards
Funeral dinners for deceased Guild member's families
Quarterly donation to Glendale Family Development Center
Provide Birthday cakes for children at Center
Collect Gifts at Christmas to give to children at center on their birthdays
We adopt a family from St Vincent de Paul at Christmas
Hold "Baby Shower" for Life Choices Clinic
Diocesan Refugee Resettlement program
Sponsored refugee families
Welcome Baskets, furniture, transportation, clothing etc.
Collected postage stamps for retired nuns
Collect and donate yarn to women's prison
Support School, Youth Ministry and Religious Education
Receptions for First Communion/ Confirmations
Receptions for New Priests and Farewell parties
Sponsor bake sales
Fund raisers (as needed)

Volunteers manage and operate the Church' Gift Shop
Pay dues
