Funeral Information

Planning a Funeral

1. Please call a funeral home of your choice to set up arrangements.
2. The funeral home will then give OLPH a call to finalize the arrangements.
3. OLPH’s funeral coordinator will call you to set up an appointment with the priest to discuss details, such as readings. If you would like to choose your own readings, please select two. The first reading may be from the Old Testament, and the second reading from the New Testament.

Recommended funeral mass time

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Tuesday 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
There are no funerals on Sunday (Holy Day)

If OLPH is not available, Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel (Capilla) at 6733 N. 55 Avenue is usually available.

Reception Policy

Due to the fact that our Hall is used by our school, we are unable to offer an area for receptions.

Liturgical Considerations

We have a book for the Readings available in the parish office.

Fees

Church usage   $250 Music coordinator   $150 music fee, or $75 set-up fee
If you wish to bring in your own music group, please request permission. Our Music Coordinator will then do the set up .
